The Production.

The Production.

It was really really dark. I could only see the people around me and the big red curtain in front of us . I could here our parents talking . “I wonder what my kids are going to be doing ” ? Whisper, whisper . Finally the big red curtain goes up really slowly . Then the lights shines on our eyes. It is as bright as the sun. Some of the room 8 children came on and did their thing . “ Bla bla bla bla”. Then the awesome Tuatara blues walked on. They looked fantastic, then they walked quickly. Some of the Room 8 stars rushed on and started talking. Then we heard “beep beep” they walked next door “beep beep” the robots come out, Mrs Polasheck came on and told us to stand up. We all stood up then they did their fantastic performance. We all sat down quietly. I knew it was going to be our turn soon . We all sang the three times tables as all of room 6 walked off . “I feel so scared and nervous, I felt like Dogs where playing rough and tough”. I picked up Sophies portrait I got two scarves pink and orange. We hopped in our lines then we walked on quietly. We put down the portraits and got into our positions. When the music started I was thinking well this it.We all stood up and did our performance. You could here the rest of the school singing our True Colours, at the end of the song we went into our pose and we waited there for ten minutes. THE END

SHOW TIME

The red curtain rose, I just sat down and every one else had already sat down. Before the production I had just been punched in the gut. I felt the pain still running and drizzling through me. I saw everyone perform they were great but Room Seven tripped up but they just laughed and carried on, great work by room seven. I liked when Charlie told a joke, it was funny. I didn’t like going to the front much because I don’t usually perform in front of a large crowd. I was glad when I got off stage because the only time when I perform is on the production.

Show time

The big night. Hurry up Mum. We were suddenly shoved in the car. Then we were rushed into town Mum dropped us off in front of the Civic Theater and then they ran out front and in side. I ran to my locker room excitedly, I got my moustache and waited for about five minutes and by then my feet were like frozen ice cubes. Finally Mrs Hughes came and said “show time’’. We were rushed onto the stage. We waited and finally it was show time. First was the tuatara blues. Second were the amazing robots. Third me the cool artists. I walked on stage slowly I got a pink and green scarf, they looked so colorful. It looked really cool when we did a rainbow. After the performance I ran off stage and sat down. After two more performances and one song it was over. When we went to the changing rooms. I was just about blinded from the cameras. I put my shoes on and went out side and sat on a bar and waited proudly for Mum and dad. I found dad. Mum was helping my brother. We left to get to the car. We went home hopped into bed and read. I was happy it was over and proud of my performance.

How To Train A Brain.

It was Thursday it was a cold and windy night. I was at home getting ready finally mum and dad were ready. I was thinking to myself what if I make a mistake would everybody laugh? When we got to the Civic Theatre I said bye to my mum and dad and then ran to my dressing room I saw the girls in my class. After I had a talk with them I went to the boy’s dressing room next door. The boy’s were really loud Mrs. Patterson was sitting on a chair next to the hard grey green sort of color table. I saw moustaches on the table next to her. I asked her nicely like this “Mrs. Patterson can I please have a moustache?” she said yes so I was happy with that. When everybody that wanted a moustache had one, we were ready, then we went and lined up at the door waiting at the door for Mrs. Langford to come and take us down stairs because Mrs. Carr was doing the sound. Room 7 were behind us because we are Room 6 and they are Room 7. When we got down stairs we went and sat on the mats. I saw the big red velvet curtain in front of me and I thought it was a dream, I rubbed my eyes it was not a dream. I slowly started to get butterfly’s in my tummy I was so nervous. Next thing I knew the curtain raised. I could see hundreds of parent’s, grandparent’s, little brother’s and sister and big one’s too. I was so excited and nervous at the same time first up it was the cute Room 1 tuatara’s finally after all the waiting for our classes turn it was my turn to shine In the spotlight. When we went on the stage and went into position then waited for the music to start our song was True Colors. When our song had ended I felt really pleased with myself. When off stage I had a really good feeling. inside of me that my mum and dad were really proud of me. The last song was Lean On Me. I hope you enjoyed my story for Myross Bush School Production for 2010.

It was the big night! All the people were waiting for the fun. Because it was the production. All the people in my class were coming, I was the first person. I think I was the first person there. Everyone finally arrived and we got ready. We all went to sit down quietly. All the people in the school sang loudly and clearly. It was going so fast it got near to our own part quickly. We were artists. I think it was very hard to stay on Josh’s back in the hold because Josh was moving fast. After that I was so nervous I felt like the chicken that was being chased by a dog. I was about to fall on the ground. We were suddenly finished and everyone walked off proudly. The one after Rm6 was cool but our one was fun! When it was finished everyone was like they had fizz. It was so fun. We went to a friend’s house for tea we had kfc and I was still feeling happy and exited.

It’s dark I can hear the people talking beside me. The bright red curtain raises it’s show time we sing the tuatara blues.

The parents started clapping. It’s time to sing our next song I am a robot then It’s time for our performance. I am as nervous as a swarm of wasps around me about to start stinging me.

It’s time go on stage my heart is pounding. I am afraid I am going to muck up. Our dance is over. It’s time to go off stage. The bodily kinesthetic performance has just started. Looks like we have some kung fu pros kicking our butt. Finally their performance is over, after all that punching and kicking. It is time for the want to read performance Mrs Polasheck signelled for us to stand up it is time to sing, I have to go to the toilet. Ok where I have come back from the toilet, where was I at oh yes to bad, want to read is about to finish they’re going off stage now.

Rm7 stars are coming on stage right about now. First up are the ballet dancers, they are done now it is time to do Hip Hop dancing. That is right the Hip Hopers are going to do it!

How To Train a Brain

It was the night. We had had a practice and we were all getting seated on stage. I could hear all the people out in the seat behind the curtain and they sounded like 1000 bees buzzing. The curtain was rising up into the air and I was getting nervous like I was going to die.

I could see all the people and I didn’t know that they could fit so many people in the theater. The show started and it came round to our performance. I was trying to find my paint in the dark wings on the side of the stage. I couldn’t find it but then I did find it. It was our turn. I was getting twice as nervous as standing up in front of the world as what I was before. The music started and I started painting and then at last it stopped and I could get off the stage. I went and sat back down quickly then I waited for one more performance and then I was back off again ready for my next part. I put the table on the stage and waited there with all the other people. We started playing our music. Didn’t want to get back on stage but when I started to play my keyboard I was ok. When we finished playing and I went off stage.

The show only went on for a little bit longer and then it was finished. I was so pleased that the red curtain had gone down and it was all over.

Lights, camera, action!

‘’Lights camera action’’ I said just at the right time when the amazing production started. The crowd of teenagers, adults and younger kids started staring at us, I was glad that I wasn’t in the front row. Before I knew it, the Room1 tuataras were on. The crowd started laughing at the end of the dance when they were shaking their long green tails at the crowd. Finally their dance was over, the clap came three seconds after . Beep went a noise next door, it was the robots ! The robots had a funny dance, everybody was laughing their heads off, it was outrageously funny. Uh oh I said with a choking voice, the time has come for the best dance. Off we went on stage with colourful scarves tied tightly to our fingers. We quickly put our portraits down at the back of the stage, then we quickly got in our starting positions. Finally are dance started, the whole class was swinging and going low and high and side to side. My hold came with Jonty and Ben Wylie, I was glad it worked out because it was hard. We got back in our two lines. We were swinging are arms in the air . Then finally another Mexican wave came, it was cool. A few minutes later after the amazing dance ended, some people in different classes said we were amazing. I’m glad my dance was over!

Show Time

The shining silver stars sparkled in the dark, as we got closer it became more and more light. It was like the stars were disappearing. I got on to the dark black stage it was like we were outside but there was a big red curtain right in front of me. The show was starting, time went by, I got so lost in the school singing that I didn’t realize that it was our classes turn. I picked up a green and pink scarf. I pulled my big brown sleeves up, I stood up on the side of the stage, but if you still don’t know what I am I am an Artist. Any way the parents were as loud as all the music and singing that was going on when the parents were talking. We were all ready, we walked on fast and when the dance was over we stood up and pretended to paint portraits, we walked proudly off. I felt really proud because we all did well.

Room 7 and 2 did their dance and when they had finished we sang Lean On e happily and took our bows.

We went back to our dressing room I felt really relieved that it was all over for another year but I was excited that next year I will be a main charter and that is Myross Bush School production for 2010.

Production

As the crowd quietens down the curtains go up, all the parents look like they want a great performance.

The show starts with clear and great acting from the great characters.

I feel as nervous as a mouse about to get killed by a cat.

All the characters were very good but Ej would be the best because he spoke so clearly.

As Room Sixes act started I thought “oh god!” but I still managed to do it.

The crowd cheered like someone winning $100,000.

I felt relieved as I walked off stage.

When the production came to an end we all sang Lean On Me lyrics, we all sang as loud as a whistle.

I thought that the Myross Bush production 2010 was great.

HOW TO TRAIN A BRAIN.

It was the night we had all been waiting for the production. I was walking down stairs to the stage, I sat down and children were mumbling words all around me it sounded like 1million bees buzzing all around me. Suddenly the parents behind the curtains fell silent. Suddenly the curtains flew up, all of the parents were staring at us. I was singing along to the songs when Mrs Kahukura pulled as off for our performance. I was so nervous I couldn’t speak. Benjamin tied my pink and orange scarves on for me. I grab a portrait and walked on stage. I put my portrait down gently and got in to my position .The song started and I started the performance. After the performance I walked off stage. Soon the production ended and we went up to the changing room. I went down stairs out the back door and started looking for my parents, they soon found me. The next morning at school everybody was talking about it. Some parents said it was the best they had ever seen, others said it was a big hit. I thought it was as cool as the disco I wonder what next years would be like…

THE END. BY BEN W

Show Time

It was the big night to show our production at the civic theatre. We came on the dark stage I heard the people mumbling as we came on stage. We were sitting on the back seats. Now it was time to show our performance. We where the cool artists I had a moustache and I was so nervous I had butterflies in my tummy. Ben Clixby was too early to do the Mexican wave and I was a bit embarrassed because we had practiced so much. I was on the left side on the front row at the end. When the production ended I felt so happy. I went out side and went to my beautiful mum and zoomed home. Bruce was the best because he was doing all the actions correctly he looked as brilliant as a rainbow with his bright scarves.

The night when the artists were about to come on.

At 6.30pm at the civic theatre. It was the 2010 production. When we got there I was getting ready but then I forgot my paint shirt, which was my costume that I was supposed to wear, so I had to wear my green top and my tights. I also wore my ‘Moe’ that Oscars’ mum gave to room 6 to wear for the production also when I put the Moe on it felt like a hairy bear rubbing against me. If you didn’t know I was an artist in the production. Room 6 went off stage quietly. We got our bright colourful scarves and walked on stage and started in our starting pose. Then a wee while after that Jaidene and I were doing the hold and Jaidene went down too early. She was supposed to go down when the music said bare. When she went down too early I felt nervous. Then we finished in our finishing pose also we were going down like a slow walking turtle. It was fun the production. The end.

HOW TO TRAIN A BRAIN

Thursday night, soon our bit came I was very nervous. The caterpillars were about to hatch into a butterflies in my tummy. I jump up and grab two scarves they were both orange. We quietly and quickly moved into our lines I excitedly walked on. We lay down, the song began, our scarves were floating in the air like a painter painting. Then we are back in our hold. I was with Emily. I felt like I was doing a shoulder stand. I keep looking at Jaidene .We did the hula around “it looked cool” Mum said after. Emily, Jaidene, Kristen, Olivia and I were doing the bright scarf hula together. We did the last bit of our dance then Zach grabbed my portrait, I pretended to paint it. The Year 6 people were doing their parts with us in the back of the scene. We walked happily off back into our places. I was sitting beside Jaidene. I was feeling good and proud. Soon the whole Production was over. My favourite part was Elvis-My brother and his air guitar.

The Big Show

It was dark at the back of the stage on Thursday; six thirty. I was really nervous with butterflies in my tummy. I could hear the people talking in the crowd they stopped immediately when the huge red curtain went up up up and then … I was amazed about how big the crowd was.Now it was our turn, I rushed to get two scarves. My colours were pink and orange, after I got them I rushed again and got in line where we were lying down. The magic music started. Colourful colours were floating in the air like multi-coloured balloons. It looked funny when every body did the shoulder stand. I was excited when we going to do the fabulous hold after that it was funny because we were spinning around in a group. I was with Emily, Sophie, Olivia, Nicole, and Kirsten. I was relived when I walked of stage because it was all over. At the end when the curtain went down every body went "yeay yeay".

How to train your brain

Wow the robots were awesome. We’re up now I have butterflies in my tummy. I am so nervous. When we walked on stage the light was sparkling like the sun on a wonderful spring day. The music started and I waved my arms side to side like seaweed in the ocean. Then I shot my arms out for “you with the sad eyes”. After that my next performance was the musical. I played the recorder c a d e f c a d e f g e f g e f g after that I walked off stage and sat back down. I whispered to Aisling “I don’t want to do the music group next year.” I was very scared to play the recorder because it was way too hard to change the notes. But in the end it was alright I played well only making one mistake. Then it was my friend Olivia’s turn, she was a rock and roll person, but first it was the ballerinas turn they played beautiful slow music but then … it turned in to faster music for Kees and Bradley it was funny … then it was the hip hop people they were cool. It was freaky when Ruby and Kiera jumped out of the middle of the circle it was really really cool when they did the worm across the stage. Then it was the best one ever it was the rock and roll people it was awesome they swung and leaned back, they must have to trust their buddy really much. Olivia’s first buddy was Kaitlyn then she spun over to Brooke, it was really really cool. Later it was over, the whole production had gone so smoothly.

HOW TO TRAIN A BRAIN

On the second of September I hear the crowd yelling as the redish gold curtain goes up, they sound like a calf that has lost his mother. I was sheepish I couldn’t breath I was scared. And that was for sure man oooooooh man. Just when I didn’t think it could get any worse it was our turn, we were Artists I looked across the stage nervously, Mrs Kahukura told us to stand and we went back stage to get ready. I grabbed a green scarf as green as grass, plus an orange one. Ben C tied up my scarves on to my fingers. Suddenly it was time. We went on to the golden stage I could hear the crowd roar like dinosaurs I got in my position. SUDDENLY THE MUSIC STARTED . . . Then two min later my costume and my worried frown had gone. My sacredness had gone my costume was a paint shirt of my design. It was over. Relief and sadness. Oh well I get to write the script next year. [The other years my costume had broken] . And that was the Myross Bush school performance for 2010.

Spot Light

Hundreds of rushing feet thundering down the stairs to the stage like a herd of elephants.

I can hear faint voices of the audience while thousands of beautiful butterflies flutter in my tummy.

It was show time and the big red velvet curtains slowly carefully lifted off the ground and there was silence.

I can see shimmering lights as I walk on stage and everybody’s eyes are on us.

I have shivers up my spine and I’m speechless.

I looked at the crowd, my heart was racing and I heard the music playing as I stood on stage proudly.

I thought ‘WOW’ as I walked off stage to sit back down.

What a great performance for 2010.

The Production.

The night was here. I felt nervous, it was dark. As the red velvet curtains went up I saw shining lights in my eyes. Room 8 started perform, the black, coal moustache above my lips started to get as itchy as a flea. Room 1 did their slow tuatara dance and walked excitedly offstage. Room 4 did their awesome robot, dance and came completely offstage. Finally it was our turn, we were 3rd, that was great, we did our freeze frame while Room 8 preformed. The other classes did their dances well and the audience all clapped, cheered and laughed it was awesome. We sang lovely Lean On Me together, then we did our bows and Mr Lovelock talked. Then we went home and that was the end of the cool production I felt great after the production, I like going to Myross Bush School.
